Easy communication, a good dialogue, and technical insight that also makes a difference in the climate accounts are the key elements of the successful collaboration between ASIL and the software company Visma.<\/p>

Back then, some people asked me if I wasn\u2019t concerned about signing a contract with a smaller company like ASIL. But I felt completely confident that Rasmus and Freddy would get the job done. We have a close and well-functioning collaboration, and I truly value having a dedicated technician on-site every day. Help is never far away, says Mikael Valfridsson, Facility Manager at the software company Visma, located in Carlsberg Byen in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen. Here, 20,000 square meters span from basement to attic.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Approximately 7,000 square meters of office space. And 1,100 employees who work in the building on a daily basis\u2014a building that may be new, but is also expensive to operate. This became especially evident when the energy crisis hit Denmark and prices for things like electricity rose sharply.<\/p>

I could clearly see that something needed to be done quickly, because we discovered that the technical systems the building was set up with were not optimal. Even though the building is only three years old, we were spending a lot of money on ventilation systems that turned out to be working against each other. The temperature, as it is today, was set to 22.5 degrees, but the process was far too expensive: the system would heat up to the desired temperature, and as soon as we reached it, it would start cooling down. We got the right result, but it cost a fortune in ventilation and climate control, says Mikael Valfridsson.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Climate and cash go hand in hand<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Together with Freddy Mortensen, who has been ASIL\u2019s full-time technician on-site since the spring of 2023, the company found a solution that not only saves money but also meets the requirements of Visma\u2019s sustainability strategy. Naturally, finances are important, but Visma also works very strategically with its own sustainability goals\u2014and with the legal requirements for climate accounting and sustainability that companies must comply with starting next year.<\/p>

In collaboration with ASIL, we have therefore implemented an Energy Management System (EMS), which makes it possible to measure all technical operations in the building. ASIL analyzes the data, proposes energy projects, and implements selected cases, and with their expert knowledge, we feel confident that our building is being operated in the best possible way.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The implementation of the EMS is a good example of our collaboration with ASIL. They bring technical insight that we don\u2019t have and can help us with solutions where sustainability and cost-efficiency go hand in hand.<\/p>

Technical knowledge and a \u2018one point of contact\u2019 setup make it very easy for us to collaborate, says Mikael Valfridsson, who emphasizes that the fixed agreement with ASIL also means that he and his colleagues in Facility Management don\u2019t constantly have to deal with new people, but always have one consistent access point to expert knowledge. ASIL is now such an integrated part of our daily operations at Visma that I correct them if they refer to the company as \u2018you\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

It's called \u2018we\u2019, because we share the responsibility for the solutions\u2014but ASIL are the ones who stay up to date with the latest knowledge and know the most optimal solutions.<\/p>

Even though I have solid technical insight, I\u2019m not an expert\u2014but Freddy and Rasmus from ASIL are, and for me, it means a lot that we in Facility Management don\u2019t have to reinvent the wheel when it comes to sustainability and optimizing our technical challenges. I feel completely confident that ASIL delivers the solutions.
